 People’s History of the Hallinglag of America 1907-2007

The Hallinglag’s official centennial book is for sale in time for holiday or any occasion giving.  It consists of one hundred and fifty-two pages filled with photos, illustrations, stories and includes an index. 

The book has three courses each detailing an important aspect of the Hallinglag’s history.  The appetizer is “Brief History of Hallingdal” by Edna Rude, a cozy history of Hallingdal from its earliest settlement to the time our ancestors left.  The second section is a meaty, general history of the Lag covering just about everything one could want to know about the Lag.  The dessert is our member’s “100 words for 100 years” contributions of short biographies, family history, photos, reminiscences of Hallinglag stevner gone by. 

In short, there is a nibble for every taste.
